How to chop a loop in 4, 8, 16 beats

In this tutorial I will show you how to slice a loop into 4, 8, 16 pieces.

First: you must have a loop and import it into Fruity Beat Slicer.
Second: referring to Diagram 1:http://www.4shared.com/photo/LhuQD5Qs/fl1.html
Select the 'knife' option circled in red\

Third: Choose any of the beat division options. Diagram2: http://www.4shared.com/photo/5keDEL3s/fl2.html

Note: If your loop is set to 4 Beats, and you select 1 Beat, the loop will sliced into 4 pieces. Similarly if the loop is set to 2 Beats and you select 1 Beat, the loop will be sliced into 2 pieces. Hence you can do the Maths for remainder of the options.

Note: This works best if the start of you sample is the actual start of the loop.
